“Wherever you go, no matter what the weather, always bring your own sunshine.” – Anthony J. D’Angelo

Been enjoying every minute of my week-long California escape. This place is the opposite of NYC in every way – warm weather, pool parties, and free wine (while I am staying at my parents house, at least).

Tomorrow Olivia, Grant and I hit the road, and I seriously cannot wait for our first stop at the Madonna Inn in San Louis Obispo. It’s been a while since I’ve made the drive up the West Coast, but I do recall it being a beautiful one. Playlists are loaded up and the car is filled with bundles of vintage goodness. Follow our journey here on the blog, and by searching #StoriedVenture on Twitter and Instagram!

I knew you came from rich parents. Girl, you need to get breast implants.

Hi Lena. My parents have worked very hard to build the life they have. I am fortunate that they were generous enough to put me through school and teach me to have the same strong work ethic that they do.

Not that I feel it necessary to explain this myself, but I was actually financially cut off after college and taught to work hard to earn my own money.

Sorry to hear you think I would look better with breast implants. I am personally satisfied with my figure, and can assume that your style is probably about as classy as your comment.

I love this look! It’s too cold in Georgia to wear something like this. You make me want to go on a vacation!
