It is hard to believe I was wearing this only 24 hours before Sandy’s devilish wrath hit Manhattan, and everyone was forced indoors to reside in sweatsuits with gallons of wine. At least that’s how I’ve spent the past 48 hours. Seriously, though, the storm was no joke. Luckily, Lola and I were able to seek shelter with a friend in Williamsburg, as it seems my neighborhood is still sans power, and apparently semi-flooded. Not fun.

My thoughts and prayers are with everyone who was affected by the hurricane. So happy that the worst is over, and the city is in recovery mode. Stay safe and dry, y’all!

    Thanks Courtney!! The PLV sunglasses are actually samples that unfortunately were never made. :(

    As for the F&C clutch, I have only worn it as a clutch but am sure it would be great either way!! Don’t you just love their bags?!

    Love this outfit! I have a Madewell dress that’s pretty much the same color and I’ve been trying to come up with an outfit or two to “winterize” it somewhat. I’ve toyed with pairing it with gray, but I’ll definitely try it with browns after seeing your outfit.
