Scattered Branches

You guys…I bought this jacket on a whim in New York (3+ glasses of wine in). One of those purchases where you know you want it, but then you feel guilty because you cannot afford it. BUT… then I found out the jacket is called “Laura”. Obviously meant to be.
One of my favorite things to do is combine edgier staples with girlie pieces: hence the leather/sweetie heart skirt combo. Until SF gets a little warmer (God, please!), I will be duplicating this look left and right.
OH! Have you voted for me yet? So excited that I have made it to the final round of Elle and Nokia’s Search for the Next Style Correspondent contest. I really appreciate the support! <3
head to toe: Belle Noel earrings from Azalea, Unearthen crystal necklace, Theory “Laura” jacket, BR vest, Zara skirt, Globetrotter bag c/o Foley + Corinna, Jean Michel Cazabat wedges

amazing jacket! love how you layered it.. you have wonderful and effortless style!

Lovely outfit! How do you like the Unearthen necklace? I love the bullet/crystal combo but haven’t seen them in person and am unsure of just ordering online. http://www.the-beauty-beat.blogspot.com

I LOVE it! It is one of my favorite pieces — so unique. I think they are all slightly different, being made of the natural stones too. And the bullet adds a nice, edgy touch. :)

It’s fate, so meant to be. Your “Laura” jacket is so pristine and everything you can ask for in a leather jacket of that sort.

I LOVE the jacket! I know it’s hard to not feel guilty making a purchase like that, but I think one piece like that is worth buying over a bunch of cheaper items that you will be over in a month or two. I love your earrings too!

These photos are absolutely stunning! I love love the lighting.
Sometimes those impulse-drunky purchases are the best, like this jacket. You totally wear this better than anyone else (I don’t even have to see it on anyone else to know)
