Such A Tease
30 Mar

Today felt like spring. It wasn’t hot and it wasn’t cold, but the sun was FINALLY shining! It’s about time I got to wear this new asymmetrical tissue skirt — the darn thing has been teasing me from my closet for weeks.
Figured I’d take in some UV rays after work and meet Blake by his office downtown. Snapped these photos (after a quick H&M trip) at a rooftop “park” just off Union Square. You’d never know it’s there…this city is full of secrets, and it’s days like today that make me fall in love with it all over again. <3
head to toe: H&M straw hat, F21 jean jacket, Vince metallic sweater, asymmetrical skirt c/o Need Supply, Alexander Wang bag, Jeffrey Campbell sandals

love love love that skirt!

ahahah we were ridiculous/embarrassing. I wish we could too! That was super fun.
The sandals are from LF – got them there probably a year ago, but they may still be available online somewhere. Hope you had a good weekend! xx

I absolutely love the skirt, and your new Wang bag is divine. It is already 100 degrees where I am, we pretty much skipped spring :(
Also, the Karen Walker’s from the previous post are fantastic

This is really adorable! Your straw hat makes me think of summer. Glad you enjoyed the sun – it has been cloudy, cold and rainy here for days.
Love the skirt! Is that a YSL ring you’re wearing?

Thank you!! I hope the weather gets better for you. And yes that is a YSL ring! It was a Xmas present from my boyfriend, Blake. :)

LOVE this outfit!! You look so lovely. I especially like your hat. It’s so fun. I love hats but have a hard time getting ones that fit my head with all my hair lol. The sweater looks great with the skirt and really seems to make the dots on the skirt pop. Where is that little rooftop garden? I have lived here my whole life and never been there. So fun when you find new secret places in the city. Any plans of blogger meet-ups? Would love to catch up again soon.

I love this look, and it certainly is VERY spring-like, so it’s great that you had such a perfect spring day as a backdrop! Love the mix of textures and how wearable and still chic the whole look is. Lovely as usual!
