We have this great little park by our house. It’s just so cute and secluded — truly a gem. What’s even better, though, is the market across the street where we picked up Blue Bottle coffee and a caramelized banana, peanut butter & bacon sandwich before our mini stroll. I mean, can you imagine a better way to start off the day? Breakfast of champions, I tell you!

Hope you guys are having a great week — it has been a busy one for Blake and me. I’m beyond ready for the weekend. My sister is coming to town on Friday! There’s nothing I treasure more than sister time… shopping, gossiping, and endless wine consumption? Yes please! <3

I feel like the past month and a half has been a whirlwind — traveling, celebrating, adjusting to the new year. After a long, mellow weekend it seems that things are finally back to normal. Normal feels good.

Today Blake and I went thrifting in the Mission — I scored a handful of amazing finds, including a heavy jacket that will be perfect for New York next month (I am going for Fashion Week!!). On our way back home, we stumbled upon this bizarre abandoned gas station. Pretty neat, eh?

Spent New Year’s in Santa Cruz with Liz, Jennie, our boys, and our pups — had such an amazing weekend! These photos were taken on the ranch where we stayed (belongs to the family of Liz’s boyfriend, Sam). It was a welcome escape from the city to say the least! Vineyards, forests, and the closest thing I’ve seen to a farm, piled upon acres and acres of land. So beautiful.
