Blake, Lola and I took a little weekend trip down to Monterrey for a 4th of July getaway. The sun was shining bright, the water was crystal clear, and the soft sandy beaches were infested with seals. Lola and the slimy sea beasts enjoyed barking back and forth… a little bizarre, but entertaining and cute nonetheless.
I absolutely loved our hotel – I was expecting a rundown beachy spot, but we lucked out with an awesome room and a balcony overlooking the coastline. We spent our days walking around the little town, eating crab, lobster and taffy, sipping on cocktails, oh… and we even accidentally crashed a wedding! To our suprise, the bride was thrilled with our unnannounced arrival so we celebrated and toasted the newlyweds into the night – clearly this is a hot trend right now. It was just the fun-filled escape we were looking for.

Um, I have to tell you that I was really excited by that last photo because I thought you had the coolest, weirdest, little leopard clutch.

So, I guess that pretty much makes you like the most stylish person ever. You even give off illusions of style! And I pretty much would give anything to see my dog get barked at by a seal- so I’m happy that you experienced that.
