Candy Striped
6 May
Blake and I recently hit up The Candy Store off Polk Street after dropping our Lola-dog (cameo below) at the groomer. The colorful setup and sugary scent is enough to make your mouth water — and apparently inspire an outfit!
We stocked up on way more sweets than a couple could ever require, and it only lasted about 2 days. They have candy from around the world and old-school treats that make you long for childhood.

I came across this vintage Celine dress years ago at the Goodwill, and picked it up for approx. $5 (we easily spent 3 times this on the candy…).
Sweet toothes come and go, but a good vintage garment is forever. ♥

Super cute- chic candystriper.
and BIG HUNKS!! I grew up riding down to the little snack bar at the beach to buy those in California, and recently learned that here on the East Coast, no one has heard of them! (or Otter Pops…)

I remember when you got that dress! Miss the days when we used to shop together all the time. Lets go to that candy store when I come up next weekend.
