Bright and sunshiny? Feline frames are the simple accessory that can amplify even the most ordinary of outfits. Throw them on with something casual and turn boring into brilliant!

There’s a charming little park up the street from my house. It’s tucked within a residential neighborhood and the fact that it’s always empty leads me to believe that few people even know it’s there. We were feeling rustic so I thought it the perfect opportunity to throw on my fun new romper and spend some time beneath the trees.

With an infusion of garden romance and 70′s flower-power, this sustainable collection is begging to be worn this spring. Not only are the fabrics recycled and the styles fashion-forward, but the prices are in the $15-$60 range!

All three women are still so lovely, but look how stunning Twiggy, Brooke Shields, and Kate Moss were in their early days of fame…

The eyes… the hair… the lips! Not to mention the vintage effect on the photos. Love this look!

I’ve never been much of a watch-wearer, but I do find the oversized style to be adorable in a “stole it from my ex-boyfriend” kind of way. Layer one with some funky bracelets for the perfectly accessorized wrist! Not only will you be blingin’ but you’ll always be on time.

I recently saw Alice in Wonderland, and must say that it was two hours well-spent. While the I adored the movie for it’s peculiarity, the costumes are what really had me captivated. Ever since, I have been spotting items left and right that remind me of the fashion – from bubblegum & mint green colors to florals, hearts and statement pieces….

What better way to celebrate spring than to engage in a bit of day drinking? Personally, I cannot think of many. We woke up early and hit Union street, heading to PlumpJack (my favorite local wine shop) to stock up. Since then we’ve been devouring cheese and enjoying Sunday in the sun.

Feeling awful lucky to have a backyard in San Francisco at the moment. Plans for the rest of the day include a late-afternoon BBQ and a little more wine consumption. Happy Sunday!

It’s all about imperfections…

We had fun in the sun this weekend and headed over to the Saint Patrick’s Day Parade/Festival near the Civic Center. After chugging a Guinness or two, we stumbled up the street to the funky little motel where my dad was staying with his friends. Being that they were in town for a Grateful Dead reunion show of sorts, the Phoenix’s “rock n’ roll” reputation drew them in.

While I’m not typically a motel kinda gal, this place is a total gem! And the artsy surroundings made for a fun-filled photo shoot.
